The manner how Galle got submerged  for yesterday's rain

There had been heavy downpours to the Galle district on the night of the 30th instant and in the wee hours of this morning. Owing to the heavy rains several roads and areas had been inundated causing a severe hardships for transport.

 The roads thus flooded are reported to be Galle-Baddegama road:

The Galle-Imaduwa road:

Dangedera,Hiribura,Deligaha,Galle-Dickkumbura, Elapahala area,Bogahagoda-Welikonda

road,Dorape-Amukotuwa road, Agulugaha-Elapahala road, Kabaragala-Wilewatta road.

Owing to  floods and earth slips the road had been inundated in the morning.
