Proposal to increase the number of police stations island wide

The Inspector General of Police Pujith Jayasundara had added that in order to provide a better service to the citizens the number of police stations are to be increased.

In this regard  the Inspector General of Police has made a request to  the President and the Prime

Minister.

The Inspector General of Police had said this when he had opened new police stations in Ridimaliyadde and Mahiyangana.
