Two types of telephone calls  these days to loyalists of the joint opposition

It is reported in political circles that the Members of Parliament who are in joint opposition are  facing two types of operations.One faction are  been entertained by the Maithripala Sirisena SLFP

 faction while others are entertained by  the UNP based Ranil Wickremasinghe faction in order to attract them to the respective factions.

Hence in order to fish them the telephone lines in the offices of the  United National Party  and Sri Lanka Freedom Party have been busy speaking to the Members of Parliament in the joint opposition particularly in fixing the related appointments with them to have discussions.

It had been published  and revealedin a Sunday newspaper that those Members of the United National Party who defected to the Mahinda Rajapaksa government are to be taken back to the United National Party.It had been sated that these members are willing to return.

Although the leader of the party Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe had been adamant earlier in the firm stand that they would not be taken back had adopted a flexible attitude these days  in order to fish them,it is reliably reported.

 It is understood that the changes in these parties are to take place during the period of the budget vote.
