It has also been revealed by the officials of the criminal investigations department to the Additional Magistrate that the persons responsible for the recording of the telephone messages at the Temple Trees and the Presidential secretariat at that time have now left the services at these places.
These information have been revealed by the additional secretary of the Presidential Secretariat Anil Wasantha Wanigasuriya and the general manager of the Presidential secretariat Janaki Mallikarachchi.
However the officials of the criminal investigations unit have revealed that they would make investigations on these employees attached to the telephone systems who had left the services.
