President to London to participate to younger daughter’s convocation

President Maithripala Sirisena had left to London yesterday in a private visit along with 06 close family members to participate in the convocation of her younger daughter Darani Sirisena.

Maithripala Sirisena has three children. Son Daham and two daughters Chathuri and Darani. Before Mithripala Sirisena  became President Daham and Darani had been studying in the UK .Daham had completed his studies in

England had returned about 1 ½ years back.

Darani Sirisena had been a degree in Law at the Stafford shire university and she had successfully completed her law degree.The passing out convocation is due to be held today. The President had arrived in London last night and the group is due to return on the 16th instant.
