Residents in Salawa area protest requesting to close the road

Owing to the fire and blast that occurred in the army camp in Salawa Kosgama the roads were closed for over two days.

Once the roads were opened the residents have complained that there are groups who have organised

 who come to loot their valuable belongings which have been ransacked.

In this regard some residents have commenced a protest on the Avissawela Colombo road to urge the authorities to close the road to prevent unscrupulous elements who are looters in coming in.

What they say is that this protest has been made because it is a threat to their security.
