Medical students at Karapitiya protest against the CCTV cameras to be fixed within their faculty premises.

A decision has been taken by the authorities of the University administration to install a camera concealed television camera (CCTV) system within the medical faculty of the Karapitiya Teaching hospital.

Protesting against the installing of this new CCTV camera system the medical students of the Karapitiya have protested as  such cameras would affect their privacy. In this regard the medical students have got a petition signed in front of the Karapitiya Teaching hospital Galle yesterday afternoon.
