Female teacher gets students to eat pieces of timber and erases for punishments

In  Bulathsinhala education division in the Govinna area it is ported that eight students , eight years old in the primary school had been forced to eat pieces of timber and erases for punishments. As a result they have been admitted to the Bulathsinhala hospital for treatment.

The parents of the children have added that this particular female teacher had been giving this punishment from a period of time.

The third year children have complained to the parents  about this issue. The parents have lodged a complaint in the Bulathsinghala police.

In this connection the Office in Charge of the police station Sub Inspector of Police HA Premalal has commenced investigations.
