Vigneswaran commemorates the dead LTTE cadres

The Chief Minister of the northern province CV Vigneswaran refuting the government instructions against commemorating the dead LTTE cardes had participated in a ceremony commemorating them on the 18th instant at

Mulliwaikkal.

For this celebration event the  leader of the Tamil Arasa Kattu Mavei Sendipahy ,PLOTE leader D. Siddhartan, the member of northern provincial Councillor Anadan Sathisaran and former member of parliament Vijayakala and some members of parliament had participated.

The chief guest CV Vigneswaran while speaking had said not only LTTE cadres but some civilians too had succumbed to death during the war.He had said in contrary in the south of the country they always say only LTTE cadres had died during the war.

In the meantime within the Jaffna university the undergraduates and the tutorial staff had commemorated the dead LTTE cadres in a ceremony within the Jaffna university premises.

They had hoisted a flag with a map showing 2/ 3 of Sri Lanka belongs to Eelam and said it is the Mulliwaikkal "Jana Sanhithaya".They had lit oil lamps to remember the dead LTTE cadres.

The northern provincial council member MK Sivagilingam had organized a commemoration ceremony in Batticaloa.
