Air Force helicopter in a mishap in Hingurakgoda, trainee pilot escaped unhurt

On the morning of the 25th instant  a BEL 206 type helicopter belonging the Royal Ceylon Air Force had met with an accident in Hingurakgoda.The trainee pilot who had been the only passenger had escaped without any injuries.

The mishap had taken place when the trainee pilot was on a training session.
