Against the increase of VAT, Wimal to file action in courts

It is reported that as the government had increased the VAT component to 15% the Member of Parliament intends to file action against this increase in a court of law.

The ground that Wimal Weerawansa is seeking to file action is that after the VAT component was increased to 15% the government sources had reduced the VAT component for certain goods and services.According to him there is no such law that is in force.On that ground he intents filing a court case against the government,
