The minister of skills development and vocational training Mahinda Samarasinghe speaking at a ceremony in Panadura had said the following:

There are certain Members of Parliament who had scolded the President Maithripala Sirisena before

and after he became President but bent into two and three and obtained ministerial portfolios.They have forgotten how they came in to the positions they are in.

They should remember that during the general election it was not the United National Party that won the Kalutara district.It was the United National Freedom Party that won.He had said that he had been in politics for 28 years and had been a minister five times.During this period he had never been redundant and obsolete as they say useless.
