Gota leaves to USA
The defense secretary of the former Mahinda Rajapaksa government, Gotabhaya Rajapaksa had left Sri Lanka to the USA.The visit has been to see his ailing mother in law it is
reported.
Gotabhaya Rajapaksa had lived with his wife for 15 years before the Mahinda Rajapaksa government came to power.After the war was won there were speculations that he would be taken into custody for war crimes that supposed to have occurred during the last stages of the ethnic war.
Gotabhaya Rajapaksa is having permanent residency status in America.
