It had been reported in the past that stray dogs had been a menace to the drivers of vehicles who drive along the route of the Southern Express Highway.The menace had been eradicated with ploys adopted by the authorities of the Highways

department.

One again the stray dog menace along the SEH from Godagama to Galle had been prevalent.The stray dogs had been a severe danger to the drivers who travel on the highway.These stray dogs have been seen on the mornings and evenings on the SEH.

These dogs mostly stray dogs are seen behind the security fences while some loiter along the main highway.It is reported that some dogs chase vehicles on the highway.
