The Tele drama actress Maheshi Madushika in a newspaper interview with the 'Mivitha' newspaper
had disclosed about the sexual influence she had faced describing some in the following manner:-

Have you not been subjected to sexual influence?

"Oh no.I am a person who talk straight.If that happened to me I would have conveyed it to the media.One cannot clap with one hand.If any person makes any type of sexual influence we should not encourage.If any one invites we should know to decline them.However at the beginning of my career when I was new to the field one director wanted me to come alone.But I went with mother.As I went with mother I was not selected for the role in that film.One other femaleartiste was chosen for that role.That film has not been released yet."

"Ammo..Not at all sufficient.If one goes on the correct path it will be alright.In every field there are several paths one could choose.For any person to go on the correct path should have the figure, competence and intelligence.Should know how to travel on that path.Whatever we receive our life should remain same.It is pointless losing our lives by getting any amount."
