Sri Lanka's Test opener Kaushal Silva who was struck on the head while fielding at the short leg position while participating in a practice game at the Plallekelle stadium was airlifted to Colombo.

After precautionary scans he had been cleared of all dangers and had been released from the Nawaloka hospital.He is to join practice sessions shortly in preparation for the tour of England.
