Private sector salaries to rise

The suggestion of the government to increase the salaries of all employees by a sum of Rs 2500/-

and to make  the minimum salary at Rs 10,000/ was until recently was only a dream.

The reason was that the government authorities could not interfere with the internal  administrative activities of private institutions. However with the passing of two proposals in this regard in parliament the government has been able to penetrate into the activities in administration activities of private institutions.

A meeting had been held today at the labour ministry when the  national labour advisory committee had met. Hence according to this committee instructions could be issued to all private institutions in this respect.
