Prime Minister bulldozers suggestions of other political parties - Anura Kumara
The leader of the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna, Aunra Kumara Dissanayake on yesterday the 11th instant had commented and alleged that in formulating the new constitution the Prime Minister
Ranil Wickremasinghe while in this process have been bulldozing the suggestions of the opposition parties and is acting in an arbitrary manner.
Anura Kumara Dissanayake had commented that the Prime Minister while formulating the new constitution had deprived the Members of Parliament in other parties to contribute their views and hence had deprived them of the equal rights they too have in this important issue which is against the standing orders of the parliament.
He had added that within the Parliament and during meetings of the party leaders and in this case of formulating the new constitution the Prime Minister had taken a stance on his views trampling the views of other political parties.
What the leader of the JVP stresses is that the decisions should not be made in an arbitrary manner.He also had stresses that the formulating of the new constitution should not be done by the TNA, the Prime Minister or the President.He also had said that it need not be formulated by using force of one person.
These had been said by Anura Kumara Dissanayake while attending to a press briefing yesterday.
