ICC suspends Warnaweera for preparing pitches to suit opponents
The curator in charge of the Galle International cricket stadium Jayananda Warnaweera has been
suspended by the International Cricket Council for a period of three years.
The reason for the suspension is that the curator Jayananda Warnaweera had been proved guilty for the alleged charges of preparing a pitch to suit the opposing side when a Test was played in Galle.
In this context he has been suspended from taking part on activity involving cricket.Earlier on two instances he had evaded in participating in investigation of two alleged charges of misconduct,ignoring the summons of the Sri Lanka Cricket.
