Chandrasiri Kodituwakku who successfully portrayed the role of "Abilin" in the Kopi Kade Tele drama and who had captured the hearts of many viewers who was admitted to the Gampaha

hospital and was treated in the Intensive Care Unit with some complications had passed away on the 15th instant.

At the time of his demise he had been 67 years old. Chandrasiri Kodituwakku had also  acted in many other Tele dramas and films and also had been a singer on stage.He had acted in stage plays such as  Uthure Rahula, Deshapaluwa, Sokkano Rajano and Kekille.

He had been born in Delgoda, Dompe and had been educated at Kelaniya Gurukula Vidyalaya.His funeral arrangements would be notified later.
