President Maithripala Sirisena calls Kusal Janith

The President Maithripala Sirisena had called cricketer Kusal Janith Perera over the telephone  to convey some words of encouragement at a time he has been accused  by the International Cricket council of an alleged drugs charge after a random test had been done when the Pakistan tour was on.Accordingly Kusal Janith Perera has been subjected to a temporary ban from International cricket pending further tests.

The President had told Kusal Janith Perera to take courage and face to the alleged charge. After calling him President Maithripala Sirisena had sent a twitter message also.
