Girl commits suicide by hanging herself from a cradle

It is reported from Bagawantalawa police division from the 'World 'section of the Campion estate that a 14 year old girl had  committed suicide by hanging herself from the sari of the cradle. This incident had occurred on the 10th

instant at around 12 noon when there was nobody at home. The deceased is by name Wigneswari Sakuntala Devi whose father has left her mother. Mother to make ends meet has gone to pluck tea leaves to the estate when she had hung herself to death. This has been reported by the Bagawantalawa police.

It is learnt that she has had education only up to 4th standard.Her body has been sent to the Judicial medical officer at the Nawalapitiya hospital for the post mortem. The Bagawanatalawa police is investigation into this death.
