It is likely that the position of Ravi's Finance Minister to be stripped and given to Kabir Hashim

Reliable political sources reveal that in the cabinet reshuffle expected in the month of January 2016 the Minister of Highways and Investment promotion Kabir Hashim is to be entrusted with the

portfolio of the Ministry of finance.

The Minister of Finance Ravi Karunanayake is learnt that would get the Ministerial portfolio of Internal trade or the portfolio of National water supply & drainage. These information is via the reliable political  sources.

It is also learnt that about 10 ministers are to be reshuffled. It is also reported that Wijedasa Rajapaksa would be changed from his ministerial portfolio of judiciary ministry and would be substituted by some Member of Parliament having a legal background.
