The manner how the prices of liquor changed after the budget
The Ministry of Finance had said that the prices of hard liquor had been increased by Rs 255/- and foreign liquor by Rs 170/- per litre.
A litre of beer having a strength of 5% less alcohol has been reduced by Rs 30/-
A litre of beer having a strength more than 5 % alcohol has been raised by Rs 70/- per litre.
The Ministry of Finance had issued a notice that these prices were affective from the mid night of the 20th instant.
