On the subject of drawing money on the pretext of purchasing GI

pipes from the Divineguma fund for the use of Provincial councils had been used for the presidential election campaign of Mahinda Rajapaksa, had been hoax  was added by the Minister of social empowerment  and welfare SB Dissnayake had added.

This was added by the Minister SB Dissanayake in Parliament on the 23rd instant.

He had further added that the purchasing of GI pipes is true and the GI pipes so purchased from funds of the Divineguma fund had been distributed  to Provincial councils without misappropriation of the funds withdrawn.

A query had been raised by the Member of Parliament of the JVP Nalin Jayatissa that a sun of rupees 20 million had been withdrawn before the presidential campaign from the Divineguma account. Minister SB.Dissanayake had replied in the above manner for this question
