Vass to hospital from courts

Vass Gunawardena an accused for the murder of Mohamed Siyam owing to a heart ailment hospitalised

The former Deputy Inspector General of Police Vass Gunawardena who is remand prison for been a suspect in the businessman Mohamed Siyam's
murder had hot a sudden heart ailment while the case was been heard.

The case was heard at the Chief Magistrate's courts and while the case was heard former DIG Vass Gunawardena had clenched on to his chest and bent down.The prison security personnel had come to his recue and admitted him to the Colombo National hospital. He is been treated in the Intensive Care Unit.

The doctors have not yet commented on his condition.
