Madhumadawa Aravinda get selected to the Western Provincial council

In the recently concluded general election six members of the UPFA  and UNP had won seat in the parliament and their seats were left vacant

In order to fill  these vacant seats those who had obtained the next higher majority of preferential votes at the western provincial election are to be absorbed into the western provincial council.Accordingly Maurice Wijeratne,Sarath Sumanasekara,Nayanakantha Kuruppu,Madhumadawa Aravinda and Pradeep Chandana are to sworn in shortly to fill these vacancies  from the UPFA list who had secured higher preferential votes it is reported.
