Investigations on Seya's murder to CID
The rape and murder of five year old Seya Sadewmini which made the whole nation grieve and weep which happened in Gampaha
Kotadiniyawa area where her family were residents. Up to now all investigations were conducted by the Gampaha Police.
However as instructed by the Inspector General of Police has ordered for the criminal investigation unit to take over the investigations from now onwards. This was disclosed to the media by the police media unit.
