Twin undergraduate sisters in Agalawatta had died of drowning because of a milking cow

The day before yesterday a very unfortunate incident was reported from Agalawatta Dapiligoda River called the Gallack Lake when undergraduate twin sisters had been drowned.

The twin sisters twenty three year old ,had done to bath in the Dapiligoda River commonly called the Gallack Lake around 5 pm on the 2nd instant. The twin sisters had not returned home at the time they usually come.The mother had promptly informed the police.
The neighbours of Dapiligoda and the police had made a search in the deep waters of the Gallack Lake and around 9 pm they were able to find the bodies of the 23 year old twin sisters drowned embracing each other at a very deep position in the Gallack Lake.
The twin sisters 23 year old have been identified as Galapathage Chaluni Nithya Thilini and Galapathage Piyumi Nithya Dilini both university students.
When initial police investigations were conducted they had observed the clothes, slippers,towels the belongings that the twin sisters had brought before bathing were on the bund of the Gallack Lake.
Close to the place where the belongings of the twin sisters there had been a milking buffalo tied up.The police believe that owing to the fear of the milking buffalo attacking them the twin sisters may have jumped on the lake.
There had been stories from the villages of Depiligoda that there had been many instances that this buffalo had tried to attack those who came near. Hence this is revealed as the closest reason for this disaster.
