The losers of the UNP would not be appointed via the national list
The leader of the United National Front Ranil Wickremasinghe had made a stern statement that none of those who were unable to secure a seat in the parliament from the general election would not be appointed at any cost via the national list of the party.
Hence 13 members from the national list that was made would be sent to the elections secretariat today the 20th instant.
