The swearing in ceremony of Prime Minister would be held on Friday morning

It is reported that the swearing in ceremony of the Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe would be held tomorrow morning at the Presidential secretariat.This would be the fourth occasion that Ranil Wickremasinghe is to be sworn in as the country’s Prime Minister.

It is learnt that a former leader of united National Party Dudley Senanayake is another person who had been appointed as the country’s Prime Minister also four times.

Ranil Wickremasinghe since the year 1994 had also been a leader of the opposition in the parliament for a number of times and hence is recognised as a competent politician in the whole of Asia.

Since the year1977 he has been in politics continuously for a period of 38 years. It is also reported that after he is sworn in as the Prime Minister he is to appoint the cabinet ministers in the new government.
