The car which carried the gunmen to Bloemendhal shooting found at a UPFA office

It is reported that the hybrid car in which the gunmen had come and shot at the supporters of the Minister of Finance Ravi Karunanayake along Bloemendhal street in Kotahena  which killed two and injured about fifteen others had been located hidden at UPFA party office of

Susil  Premajayanth and Dhanasiri  Amaratunga.The officers criminal investigations department had revealed that the car had been hidden and found at the Wellampitiya party office of these two candidates who are contesting for the Colombo district for the UPFA. The car has been taken into the custody of the CID.

When the underground element Amila who was arrested and questioned by the Criminal Investigation Department in this regard this vital information had been divulged and they were able to find this car.. The other suspects who were involved in this shooting would be soon revealed when Amila is questioned during interrogation when the names of the other suspects are sure to be made known.

It is also reported that the underground criminal Amila has been released on bail after he was in remand as a suspect in the Bharatha Lakshman Premachandra murder case.
