Sanath to support UNP 

It is reported that the former deputy Minister of Posts in the Mahinda Rajapaksa government

Sanath Jayasuriya, after former Presidente was defeated at the presidential election and joined the new government under Ranil Wickremasinghe.

Santh Jayasuriya had been close to former Member of parliament for the Hambantota district Namal Rajapaksa and had worked closely with him.It is learnt that Sanath Jayasuriya is to join the United National Party at the residence of  Sagala Ratnayake, the Matara district candidate  of the UNP this evening.

It was reported earlier that Sanath Jayasuriya's mother too had go on to the stage of UNP's candidate for Matara Sagala Ratnayake.
