After the former Chairman of the Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation  Somaratna Dissanayake tendered his resignation from

his post a member of the  board of Directors Attorney- at -law.the head of the timely division of the Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation Ravi Jayawardena who was appointed as the new Chairman commenced work today the 04th instant.

Ravi Jayawardena is a attorney at law of the Colombo university and possess a post graduate diploma in international relations in the  same field from the Lancashire University in the United Kingdom.
