Prasanna Solangaarachchi misses out of a Parliamentary seat

At this general election 2015 it revealed that many of the loyalists of the President Maithripala

Sirisena unfortunately had to lose the opportunity of entering the parliament on the UPFA ticket.

The Chairman of the Kolonnawa Pradheshiya sabha Prasanna Solangaarachchi was just on of them. He has had served the people of Kolonnawa while in his capacity as Chairman of the Pradeshiya Sabha  for several years.

He was even made the organizer of the SLFP of Avissawela seat by the President before the election and was given nominations to contest for Colombo district under the UPFA ticket. As he had failed to obtain the required number of preferential votes had missed out in entering parliament which was his desire.
