In Kegalle, father-in-law killed by son-in-law  by striking with a pole

On Saturday 08th instant a person 68 years old had been killed when his son-in-law had struck him with a pole after a family conflict.

This incident had taken place in a dwelling house in Ketalagala area in Kegalle.

It is reported that the deceased his wife daughter and son-in-law had lived in the same dwelling house for some time and very often his daughter and the son-in-law had been involved arguments.

Even on this Saturday there had been an argument which had resulted in a quarrel between the daughter of the deceased and the  son-in-law which the daughter's father had come to resolve .The son-in-law had taken a pole and beaten the father-in-law on the head.He had started to bleed profusely and had succumbed to death.

The 68 year old person who had in this manner is Babargalayugalage Wilson.The dead body is been kept in the mortuary of the Kegalle hospital. The post mortem is to be held today.The suspect had been arrested and is to be produced before the Kegalle Magistrate on the 9th instant.
