“Thripitakaya” translated into simple Sinhalese

The “Thripitakaya” has been translated into very simple Sinhalese and made into three books were

launched at the President’s secretariat yesterday  afternoon ,the 22nd under the auspices of the President Maithripala Sirisena.

This huge task was undertaken by a separate “Thripitakaya development board and was a special project under the Buddha Sasana ministry and the Religious department Buddhist affairs unit.

Venerable Davuldena Gnanissara Mahanayaka Thera presented the first three copies of the “Thripitakaya” in simple Sinhalese to the President Maithripala Sirisena.
