The opposition in the next parliament should be JVP, wish of the Mahanayake Asgiri Chapter:

The leader of the Janatha Vimukthi Permuna, Anura Kumara Dissanayake had after launching the election manifesto had paid visits to

the Mahanayake theras of Asgiri and Malwathu chapters in Kandy to present them copies of the election manifesto of the JVP.

 When the Mahanayake of the Asigiri Chapter Venerable Galagama Atthadassa Thero had quipped like this. It is pointless to say thieves, thieves; the real thieves should be brought to book and punished. The two sided changing politics is not needed for this country. This has to change. For this country like the two sides of a coin should not be allowed to reign.

The Mahanayake thera had reiterated that the efforts made by the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna should be hailed for pin pointing the faults of this government and the previous government. He wished the JVP leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake to get all needed strength to become the second force and to be the opposition party in the next parliament.
