Failure to remove cut-outs Kalawana OIC and three officers interdicted

It is reported that for not removing the cut- outs of a Member of the United Peoples Freedom

Alliance candidate erected in the Kalawana town the Officer in charge of the Kalawana police station and three other officers attached to the Kalawana Police station had been interdicted.

As this cut out in question had not been removed by the Police there had been a clash between the supporters of the United Peoples Freedom Alliance and the United National party factions on the 15th instant.

There had a lapse on the part of the Officer in charge in preventing the clash that took place on the day before yesterday.
