ATTEMPT BY TISSA TO CONSOLIDATE ....

SONS-IN-LAW'S SOCIETY INTO A PARTY

As a result of supporting the defeated Mahinda Rajapaksa by changing Tissa Attanayaka's Party

at the Presidential Election, once the General Secretary of the UNP, Tissa Attanayaka was later isolated by that Party and subsequently once again appeared as a Mahinda supporter.

He was jailed for a short period of time for the offence of preparing false documents for the purpose of ruining public opinion about the UNP and during that period of time his daughter Dulmini came to the limelight as a magnetic character and as a talk of the town among social media. Later, it was Dulmini and the Sons-in-law's Society which was created because of her that turned out to be the political comrades to the isolated Tissa.

Former MP Tissa Attanayaka who has been named as a member of parliament in the National List of the United People's Freedom Alliance currently faces problems relating to UNP membership and now he has decided to establish a political Party. It is learned that this Party which is named as Eksath Purawesi Peramuna is hoped to have as its symbol the 'punkalasa' and the Party is expected to be launched tomorrow (22). The support of his daughter Dulmini and the said sons-in-law is anticipated in this respect.
