Former Minister of cultural affairs T.B.Ekanayake had been
summoned to the Police Financial criminal investigations unit today the 26th instant to obtain a statement.
It is reported that this has been to record a statement in regard to misappropriation of money from the cultural ministry during his tenure as the Minister.
