Thilanga weeps when Johnston is attacked

It is reported that the Member of Parliament UPFA, Thilanga Sumathipala is highly grieved in the

situation former Minister of Cooperatives and Internal Trade Johnston Fernando is in. After been remanded on the orders of the Kurunegala Magistrate consequent to the investigations conducted by the Police Financial Crimes Investigations unit on allegations of Bribery and Corruption lodged against him.

The Member of Parliament Thilanga Sumathipala had quipped yesterday that in this regard he intends appealing on his behalf to the International Parliamentary Society seeking redress for Johnston Fernando.The Magistrate had punished him for misappropriation of public funds Act. The funds of the Sahosa institution have been misappropriated by him. It is learnt that another person had been released on bail for misappropriation of rupees 3.1 million Sathosa funds by the same Magistrate.

Thilanga Sumathipala will be appealing to the International Parliamentary society citing this case to obtain redress to Johnston Fernando. This case he has got obtained details and got confirmed.
