Fonseka has entered into a new marriage, it is understood. Her partner is Ishwian de Saram living in America. She came into the news during the past regime because Danuna Tillekeratna, her former husband was under a warrant in connection with the Hicorp case. Danuna had disappeared from the time that Sarath Fonseka was subjected to revenge. However, after cricketer Hashan Tillekeratna, a brother who is related to him made a public statement saying that he would be supporting Mahinda, Danuna Tillekeratna got a chance of appearing in court and obtaining bail. But he had given up the battle and acted as a traitor for his own salvation.

It was during the beginning of last April that news about Apsara Fonseka having entered into marriage spread around. Ishwian de Saram whom Apsara wedded is an employee of Ernest & Young establishment in America. Apsara's residence too happens to be America. Apsara's younger sister Aparna too is married to an American by the name of Cheramin Slokum and is living in America.

Ishwian attended the ceremony of Sarath Fonseka being promoted to the rank of Field Marshal and was seen in the front row seats with Apsara and Aparna with Cheramin. Danuna was not present on that occasion. However, Danuna Tillekeratna had attended a later ceremony and shook hands with Sarath Fonseka and had greeted him, it was reported.
