Member of Parliament Dinesh Gunawardena displacing the present leader of the opposition Nimal Siripala de Silva as the new opposition leader would be decided by the speaker Chamal Rajapaksa today evening in the parliament.

In this connection the related request letter signed by over 50 members of the opposition has been handed over to the Speaker on the 07th instant.
