Owing to the very high heat wave the possibility of ‘heat stroke’ imminent

The terrible heat that is experienced in most parts of the country cannot be borne by many and

small children are subjected to dehydration followed by ‘heat stroke’. This has been said by the health authorities and to be cautious.

The consultant physician in Paediatrics, Dr Deepal Perera  had warned about the heat that is experienced and that children and adults would have  direct affects to the heart and brain and to exercise caution. The consultant had advised to give twice the quantity of water for consumption and to two baths daily to combat the heat.
