OIC cinnamon garden hospitalised beaten by Monks

The Buddhist monks undergraduates of the inter

university student federation had tried to enter the premises of the university grants commission, in an effort to hand over a petition to withdraw the rule to restrict the intake of Bikkhu university students to universities.

During the protest they had hurled stones at the police personnel.The OIC of the Cinnamon garden’s police station had been hurt and admitted to hospital for treatment while another sub inspector of police too has been injured and also hospitalised.
