The Buddha statue which becomes the world's

largest rock-stone Buddha statue is to be opened today in Kurunegala under the auspices of the President.

This statue which is known as Rambadagalla Pilimavahanse is 67.5 feet in height. M.M. Sthapathi is the individual who created this statue. It is understood that a sum of Rs. 10000 lakhs had been expended on this.
