Mahinda informs Bribery Commission to let him know all details they need, until then not to come to meet him:

Former president Mahinda Rajapaksa has informed the
Chairman of the Bribery and Corruption investigating unit who make investigations into complaints made to inform him what details they need from them. In that context he had said that he would not be meeting them on the 24th instant as notified to him.

In this connection he had sent a letter dated 23rd instant addressed to the Chairman of the Bribery and Corruption unit Jagath Balapatabendige.

Nevertheless he had also quoted that he had offered the post of Minister of Health in his government to former General Secretary of the United National Party Tissa Attanayake in terms of the powers vested on him as the president of the country.

He had also emphasised that in the letter sent to him by the Chairman of the Bribery and Corruption investigation unit it had not been outlined for what reason he had been called for and hence to detail him all the information that they need from him. This he had said that he has a right to inquire as to what answers they need from him.
