Clash between Frontline socialist party and JVP in Peradeniya - 04 hospitalised

It is reported that after a clash between factions of the Frontline socialist party and JVP in

Gannoruwa, Peradeniya four persons have been injured and hospitalised while 20 have been arrested by the police. It is also learnt that two of the injured and four arrested are those of the JVP.

The fight had begun as a result of an argument between the members of the Progressive socialist front and a land lord of the premises they had rented out in Gannoruwa on a rent issue. The two parties had then begun fight. After which the members of the Frontline socialist party and the JVP had clashed as a political matter.

As a result of this flaw the Land Lord of the rented out premises had damaged the furniture of the Frontline socialist party.
