19th amendment and night park at Parliament no connection - Bandula

Former Minister and Member of parliament Bandula Gunawardena has squashed the
allegation that the protest they had on the 20th night until the morning of the 21st in the parliamentary premises is not at all against the 19th amendment.

He had quipped on the 21st morning that the draft copy of the resolution to the amendment to the 19th had been available to him and the other Members of the opposition in English. He insisted that he only protested as the reading of it was not possible to the majority and to make available to him and others the Sinhala and Tamil translations of the amendment. Until then the debate should be indefinitely postponed as time was needed to read it properly.

The postponement was requested for this reason and not at all with any intention of protesting and opposing the 19th amendment had  added further.
